We had a pretty long drive to get to here but it was well worth it. This hotel is set on a cliff top with thousands of acres of land and lots of activities to do. The main house and the cottages all look to the Pacific Ocean and you seem like you have the whole bay to yourselves. The cottages here were definitely my favorite out of our 5 week stay in New Zealand. They are so spacious with a big bathroom, and an area to lounge inside and out. The ATV experience was my favorite here because where in the world are you able to ride ATV’s right by the ocean with no people insight?!

Here we ate breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food was really good especially the hash browns, definitely the best during our whole whole trip.

Activities

They have a lot of activities that they provide during your stay. We got a tour of the property which included the shearing of the sheep, their garden and an ATV ride. I highly recommend the ATV ride since it was one of those experiences in life that are very rare. The property is enormous and it was so cool riding around the different areas but the best part was riding along the black pebble beach.
