The Malborough Hotel

Staying at this hotel was pretty much an accident. We messed up with our hotel bookings and needed to stay somewhere for the night before going to Queestown and this cute boutique hotel was luckily available. They have such beautiful chapel, gardens and acres of vineyards.

Gardens

This property has many walking paths that you can explore. We started with the hydrangea trail where you walk by the most beautiful willow tree. Then there’s a garden kitchen trail which was honestly the most beautiful kitchen garden I’ve seen. They planted marigolds all along the garden which added such a nice pop of color. We also walked through the vineyards where you can see which grape was being produced.
