Las Alamandas
3.5 hours south of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico is this remote hotel. You pretty much have a private beach to yourself with full staff. There were about 4 other couples staying at this 18 suite hotel but honestly they were no where to be found throughout the day.

Suite
It was pretty spectacular to open your windows and look at the ocean so close to you, the waves were your sound system to go to sleep. The suite came with a balcony which had a private sun bed and hot tub. We also had afternoon cocktails in our balcony, just listening and watching the waves go by. We got pretty lucky and got to see some whales pass by and some spinner dolphins as well. The general pool was also very nice and again didn’t even have to share it with anyone at the time. The place is so big there are so many pockets you can go to and be completely private.

Meals
Eating here was pretty magical, you had ocean views for breakfast and lunch. For dinner, since so little people were staying there you had a very romantic set up.

Amenities
The property being 2,000 acres, you had lots to see. We booked a tour where we could see the whole property by car. They have a private beach nestled between two mountains and views from up top in the cliffs that were pretty magical. They even took us to their garden where they get their produce from.
