Rosewood Kauri Cliffs
We wrapped up our New Zealand trip in the North Island, and it honestly felt more like Hawaii than New Zealand. The climate was warmer, everything was impossibly green, and the vibe was pure paradise. Our hotel was perched on a cliff, with sweeping views of the golf course below and the ocean stretching out in front of us. They also have a nice spa which I didn’t include picture of but definitely would recommend to check out.
Main House
This is where you check in, enjoy pre-dinner drinks, and can have every meal of the day if you choose. The setting is absolutely stunning—open, airy, and designed to soak in the views.
Grand Ocean View JuniorSuite
Our suite was in a smaller cottage a short walk from the main house, which gave it a quiet, secluded feel. The room was lovely—bright, spacious, with a fireplace and a great master bath that made it feel extra special.
Golf
The property is best known for its beautiful golf course, and the views are just as impressive as the fairways themselves. Even if you don’t golf, it’s worth it for the scenery alone.
Al Fresco Feast at Pink Beach
One of the most memorable experiences at the Rosewood starts at the main house, where you’re picked up and driven down to the ocean for a private seaside dinner. Everything is already perfectly set up—a grill, a full bar, and even a restroom for convenience. Dining right by the water, with the sound of the waves and the open sky, was truly unforgettable.
