The Rooster

Whenever I need to calm my nerves and just want to feel happy this is the place I go to in my head. I spent the most magical week here. Everything was so pure and natural, you felt like you were actually removed from the world and put in this beautiful place. I cannot recommend this resort enough in the island of Antiparos. Everything from the interior design to the food was amazing.

Property

As soon as you drive up you are greeted by the lovely staff. You also get to see most of the houses even though they are pretty camouflaged. The view is truly break taking from honestly wherever you stand.

House

The interior design for this resort was beautiful, it makes you want to redecorate your own house to match its style. The house is pretty spacious with lots of features such as an outdoor shower, kitchenette and pool area. Each house comes with a pool that honestly would be better if it were heated since we went end of September and was a tad too chilly to get in but it was still beautiful nonetheless.

Breakfast

Breakfast is included in your stay which is really is lovely. You get to choose whatever you want from the menu provided. The view from the breakfast is amazing, whether you are inside or out since sometimes the winds are too rough to be sitting outside.

Restaurant

All their food is really high quality and organic, they use a lot of vegetables that they grow in their farm. The restaurant, breakfast area and bar are all around the same area so you can see everything if you’re just there for dinner which is open to the public.

Bar

This area is definitely the spot to visit during the summer, luckily we were there during shoulder season so it wasn’t so crowded. The views are amazing everywhere you decide to sit or stand which is why theres always a crowd there. You also view the whole resort from that area, you see some of the houses that are near the beach. They also do have a great cocktail menu, truly a great place to see the sunset.

Farm

About a mile from the property is their beautiful farm, I hope to one day own something like this. They also have a house where you can stay at, mostly for larger groups. We reserved a private dinner at the farm one night and it was a better experience than some of the Michelin star restaurants I’ve ever been to. We were shown all parts of the farm, it had its own chicken coop, large garden and bakery. It was truly an amazing experience to witness it all.

Amenities

Last but certainty not least, is all the amenities that this beautiful resort provides. They have a public beach where you can easily walk providing paddle boards, surf boards, umbrellas and chairs. It’s a very beautiful, quiet and secluded beach, perfect for your summer getaway. We went on paddle boards and looked around the clear ocean water, something I definitely recommend! They also have a gym and a whole spa area. They’re really known for their spa treatments but unfortunately I didn’t get the chance to get one, so maybe next time!
