The Wild Hotel by Interni
Mykonos is known as a party island, but I wanted the opposite. I was coming in from the states so I had to pick either Mykonos or Athens to land so I can travel to the other islands. I chose Mykonos and for a very good reason too, this hotel. It’s a beautiful hotel, amazing food, it’s own protected beach and it would be the only reason I would ever go back to Mykonos.
Room
I loved the boho chic aesthetic of the hotel. The room had its own coffee station and outdoor area where I would journal during sunrise since I was still jet lagged.
Breakfast
I love how most European hotels have breakfast included and this one was no different, except the view that you had while you had it was like no other. The breakfast area was near the pool but expanded through the cliff which was nice and cozy. The spread was immaculate, with eggs, cheeses, bread, and other greek pastries such as Spanakopita (which became my all time favorite thing to eat while in Greece)
Private Beach
Probably the best part of the hotel is the private beach. I do suggest to get down there on the earlier side since it does fill up if the hotel is at full capacity.
Dinner
Since I didn’t want the party vibe of Mykonos at all, I chose to stay and eat the hotel every day and it did not disappoint. The dinner setting was like incredible since you literally ate in a cliff. You have the option eating the cliff side or by the pool where the breakfast is served. They also had two menus, either The Taverna menu or the Raw menu which was more sushi style. I opted for sushi one night of my 4 night stay there. The Taverna menu had traditional greek dishes and the orzo pasta with shrimp is a must try and for dessert you HAVE to get the phyllo pistachio!
